Printing and copying

Recommendations from webmaster and former board-member Milo Shapiro:

For general design work (logo, one-sheets...) I recommend Glenn Kramer.  He's in the industry full time but has just started doing side work for extra income, so he's affordable and really nice to work with.  A good page to start on upon his site would be this page, showing designs he created in 2010.  You can always go to the home page from there.

For business card design with printing, I design cards as a side venture because of my ten years experience with Photoshop.  Check out some examples of cards I've developed, posted here.  If I design the card, I can get pretty good prices on printing locally because of being in the business.

For just business card printing for existing design (if you've already got the design work done), there are ofter good deals on at www.printrunner.com .  Their general prices are good and if you're not in a hurry, get on their emailing list and every month or two they run specials.

For photo editing (making your photo look better, removing people/things/backgrounds, fixing damage to photos, etc.),
check out www.FreshenYourPhoto.com .

For brochure printing, the best deal I found after much searching was with Consolidated Concepts at www.consolidconcepts.com.  Under $500 for 4/4 100# with aqueous coating.  And he delivered them
to me in a parking lot en route to a gig so I'd have them in time.  That's service!

For having headshots taken, give me a call at 619-542-0761 as recommendations may vary based on what you're looking for and where you're located.
